A binomial is the sum of two monomials.

A univariate binomial, a binomial with a single indeterminate, has the form:

ax^n - bx^m

Where a and b are the constant coefficients of their respective monomials, x is the indeterminate, or variable, and n and m are non-negative integers.

More generally, a multivariate binomial takes the form:

ax_{1}^{n_1}\cdots x_{i}^{n_i} - bx_{1}^{m_1}\cdots x_{i}^{m_i}
